While the weather may not feel like it, this Saturday is the first day of fall! One of the most active seasons, there are plenty of festive activities to get you out and about.
Enjoy the gorgeous weather and get to know your local community with a few of my favorite fall picks.
1.Taste of Bethesda
One of the best things about fall is all the tasty delicacies that are in season. Indulge your taste buds with the Taste of Bethesda.
This highly anticipated event brings out the best of food and wine from all over the DMV! Featuring over 60 different vendors, this is a must-experience event for all aspiring foodies.
2. Oktoberfest at the Kentlands
Fall can’t be complete without an Oktober Fest! Gaithersburg’s Germanic festival is going into its 26th year of celebration and is better than ever.
Complete with all-ages activities, a wine terrace, live music and more, this fantastic festival is a great way to explore the one of the diverse cultures that helps make this community so great! Plus, all the vendors are local so it’s a perfect way to find your new favorite brewery or restaurant.
3.The Pumpkin Festival
One of the most iconic fall symbols is the pumpkin. Whether it’s through carving a jack-o-lantern or chugging a pumpkin spice latte, there’s so much to love about this gourd!
For a truly unique pumpkin-filled experience, make your way down to Butler’s Farm any weekend in October. Enjoy family friendly activities and delicious pumpkin themed foods, as well as fall favorites straight from the farm!
